About the position

The Senior Strategy Marketing Manager for New Client Acquisition will lead the development and execution of data-driven marketing strategies aimed at acquiring new primary bank checking customers. This role is crucial in supporting the bank's growth goals by translating sales targets into impactful marketing programs across various channels. The manager will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to create a comprehensive acquisition strategy, focusing on digital media and targeted messaging, while also overseeing a team dedicated to achieving these objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the retail acquisition checking strategy and manage a team that executes against the strategy inclusive of offer design and risk management.
  • Partner with analytics on robust and timely tracking, and forecasting to help evaluate program performance across all response acquisition channels.
  • Lead and oversee the design, execution, measurement, and ongoing optimization of digital and direct response marketing initiatives.
  • Build robust test and learn plans to drive consumer acquisition and expand the effectiveness of the marketing channel mix.
  • Drive a customer-focused culture throughout the team, leveraging broader Bank relationships and knowledge.
  • Create a clear vision for the consumer prospect shopping journey, targeting various customer segments.
  • Leverage research, past campaign performance, and data insights to create business cases for new growth initiatives.
  • Develop and foster a high-achieving motivated team through sustained leadership activities.
  • Understand the Bank's risk appetite and culture in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Develop forecasts and budgets, driving and executing spend optimization decisions.

Requirements

  • Multiple years of marketing and team management experience.
  • Understanding of Bank Deposit (Checking, Savings, Money Market) Products financials and P&L levers.
  • Keen understanding of digital marketing platform opportunities and implementation strategies.
  • Outstanding facilitation skills to partner with business project leads and stakeholders.
  • Digital marketing expertise and 1:1 marketing experience including direct mail.
  • Data-driven marketer with a focus on test-and-learn.
