We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer in Indianapolis, IN, who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on projects including state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facilities. You will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, gaining familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Additionally, you will provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will produce designs for building structures, equipment platforms, building foundation design, multiple pipe supports (MPS), and equipment/tank support systems. You will also have the chance to utilize your technical expertise to mentor other professionals, helping your team discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose, and guiding them forward. Responsibilities

  • Accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
  • Provide on-site assistance during startup.
  • Coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
  • Produce designs for building structures, equipment platforms, and building foundation design.
  • Design multiple pipe supports (MPS) and equipment/tank support systems.
  • Mentor other professionals and help them discover their purpose.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in engineering design of building structural systems.
  • Solid working knowledge of building codes.
  • Advanced working proficiency in STAAD and STAAD Pro.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to achieve overall project delivery goals.

  • Professional Engineering License or path to obtain.
