About the position

RQC, LLC is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer/Design Project Manager to join their Structural Engineering team in Jacksonville, FL. This role involves managing all aspects of structural engineering design development practices for large scale commercial, federal, and industrial projects, particularly for the Department of Defense. The position requires directing engineering activities, inspecting jobsites, performing structural analysis, and preparing design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of structural engineering design development practices.
• Direct engineering activities and inspect jobsites.
• Compute structural analysis and prepare all structural design documentation.
• Manage the team's structure and procedures.

Requirements

• MS degree in Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) License required.
• Fifteen (15) or more years' experience in structural engineering design or project delivery in industrial construction projects.
• Project management experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, RISA, Revit, MS Word, and MS Excel.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with large scale ($25M +) commercial projects.
• Familiarity with federal and industrial type projects.
