About the position

The Senior Structural Engineer will play a crucial role in leading and designing high-profile structural engineering projects, particularly in the transportation sector. This position involves supervising junior engineers, ensuring precision in designs, and collaborating with a talented team to enhance community infrastructure and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and design high-profile structural engineering projects with a focus on detail and precision.
• Supervise the development of drawings and drafts while mentoring and managing a team of two junior engineers.
• Utilize expertise in structural analysis and modeling software, particularly STAAD PRO (or similar), to ensure all designs meet the highest standards.
• Collaborate with a talented team to deliver solutions that enhance the community and improve transportation accessibility.

Requirements

• 10+ years of structural engineering design experience with a robust technical focus.
• 5+ years of experience specifically with MTA projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in structural design and analysis, with familiarity in Microstation.
• A passion for mentoring and guiding the next generation of engineers.
