About the position

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Senior Structural Engineer to join our esteemed team. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the design of structures across a wide spectrum of projects, including commercial, residential, institutional, and industrial buildings. Collaborating closely with our engineering team and studio leader, you will contribute to project development, organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Your expertise will extend to mentoring, supervising, and training engineers and Engineer-in-Training (EIT) professionals during both the design and construction phases. You will also be responsible for overseeing construction documents and actively participating in the administration of construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, direction, and coordination of structural design for diverse building types.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team and studio leader in conceptual development.
  • Oversee project organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
  • Mentor, supervise, and train engineers and EITs during design and construction.
  • Develop and coordinate construction documents.
  • Participate in the construction administration of projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.
  • Impeccable organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven aptitude for effective time management and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional supervisory and leadership qualities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
  • Active Professional Engineering Licensure.
  • 5+ years of recent and relevant experience in structural engineering.
