The Structural Engineer will be assigned to various construction projects and will be responsible for designing and analyzing temporary structure designs to ensure constructability with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role involves providing constructability and technical design input on temporary works construction designs to ensure compliance with contract specifications and regulatory requirements. The engineer will design and draft construction methods for temporary works, including falsework, shoring, temporary bridges, formwork, and slopes, ensuring completeness and accuracy with regulatory standards and within the contract specifications. In addition to design responsibilities, the Structural Engineer will review personal and peer design elements to optimize project constructability, cost-effectiveness, and material quantities. Timely submission of designs for peer review or approval is crucial to avoid construction delays on the project site, with the senior engineer or manager sealing designs following approval review. The engineer is expected to maintain knowledge of the company's values and strategic plan while supporting published corporate policies. Additional assignments may be performed as directed by management.
