About the position

Epstein is seeking a Senior Structural Project Engineer to join our growing structural engineering team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, controlling, and integrating engineering activities, as well as developing project deliverables to ensure project success. The role requires knowledge of BIM and experience with Revit Structure, along with the ability to perform calculations, conduct code and material research, and oversee the production of plans and specifications. The ideal candidate will also coordinate with other building design disciplines and provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Plan, control, and integrate engineering activities for projects.
• Develop project deliverables to ensure project success.
• Perform calculations, code and material research, and structural analysis.
• Assist in or oversee the production of plans, specifications, and reports.
• Coordinate with other building design disciplines.
• Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced structural team members.

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Licensure as a Structural Engineer.
• 8-15 years of successful project experience with a consulting engineering or multi-discipline AE firm.
• Previous experience with REVIT Structure (preferred).
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and discipline-specific software packages such as Robot, RISA-3D, RAM, SAP 2000, CONCEPT.
• Strong analytical and technical skills; proficiency with complex analysis methods and model building codes.
• Analysis and design experience in a variety of building structure types.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of BIM is preferred.
• Experience with Revit Structure is desirable.
