About the position

The Senior Supply Chain Manager for Amazon Air's Demand and Operations Planning team is responsible for driving asset utilization and improving forecast accuracy. This role involves collaborating with data scientists and operational leaders to develop innovative solutions to complex problems, while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The position directly influences Amazon's business operations and customer service, ensuring efficient package flow and demand forecasting across the AIR network.

Responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships with data scientists and operational leaders to create roadmaps for program improvement.
• Collaborate with upstream and downstream partners to integrate the Amazon supply chain demand forecast.
• Develop S&OP reporting and communications.
• Manage demand planning cadence for high volume events.
• Advise senior leadership on long-term decisions and structural changes to Amazon Air's demand forecasting.
• Navigate through ambiguity and manage multiple project assignments in a deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or a related technical or quantitative field.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience driving process improvements.
• 3+ years of experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
