About the position

As a Senior Supply Chain Manager for Cargo Integrity & Recovery Services (CIRS) at Amazon, you will be responsible for enhancing cargo integrity and compliance within the inbound supply chain network. This role involves driving security measures, managing inventory, and ensuring end-to-end visibility in transportation processes. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with various stakeholders to implement best practices and achieve strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver programs and inventory management to support load integrity, security, and improved chain of custody for freight within Amazon's inbound transportation network.
  • Drive the adoption of Amazon's required security measures and identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Understand diverse customers within Amazon's supply chain and develop programs to scale best-in-class trailer security.
  • Own accountability initiatives to ensure adherence to security requirements.
  • Increase visibility and accuracy of the chain of custody for shipments inbound to Amazon.
  • Deliver key initiatives in the short-term and build a strategic roadmap for cargo security leadership.
  • Leverage a team to coach selling partners, carriers, and Amazon on best practices, delivering measurable metrics to track progress and compliance.
  • Simplify the experience to reduce costs while increasing security and documented chain of custody.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level
  • Familiarity with SQL
  • Experience with inventory management

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree
  • 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level
  • 5+ years of experience in program/project management, focusing on pricing, transportation, or logistics
