About the position

As a Senior Supply Chain Manager at Amazon Logistics, you will be responsible for optimizing supply chain operations and leading strategic initiatives across various business units. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, drive cost savings, and manage supplier relationships. You will take ownership of sourcing strategies and play a key role in ensuring the availability of equipment and services to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Establish sourcing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and execute contracts to drive cost savings.
• Drive and manage supplier relationships to enhance collaboration and achieve business goals.
• Manage high spend categories, being accountable for cost savings, with a minimum of $80M in category spend.
• Lead strategic sourcing activities to lower the overall total cost of ownership for Amazon operations.
• Develop and negotiate framework agreements to reduce risk and support local teams in project-specific needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related fields.
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing and procurement operations experience in indirect categories.
• 5+ years of demonstrated analytical skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables at minimum).

• Master's degree or MBA in relevant fields.
• Specific experience in driving process improvements in procurement.
• Technical aptitude and familiarity with complex procurement systems.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large, complex datasets.
