About the position

The Emerging Country Network Planning team is seeking a talented Senior Supply Chain Manager to develop solutions aimed at optimizing multi-year network topology design and enhancing Supply Chain planning processes for new country expansions. This role encompasses emerging markets such as Mexico, Brazil, Australia, the Middle East, Singapore, and other new countries. As a collaborative team player, you will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the best Supply Chain professionals, technology teams, Worldwide Engineers, Operations Managers, Finance partners, and business leaders across continents. The primary objective is to design optimal Supply Chain network solutions that address conflicting goals while ensuring the best customer experience in a cost-efficient manner. In this role, you will engage with cross-functional teams across various countries to define requirements, develop inbound topology, and trans-network solutions, while managing timelines for all current and future projects. Regular communication with senior management regarding project status, risks, opportunities, and daily change control management will be essential. The position demands strong cross-team coordination, project management, and executive interaction skills. Successful candidates will be superior analytical thinkers capable of understanding complex data, diving deep into various information sources, and collaborating closely with technology partners, local and regional operations, and finance teams to rapidly iterate and deliver effective solutions. You will also work across diverse teams to drive long-term strategic initiatives and promote the adoption of best practices. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment that encourages collaborative and creative problem-solving and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects for cross-functional teams focused on delivering new features, services, products, or systems that meet cost optimization and delivery experience maximization goals.
  • Contribute to the mid to long-term network planning process, tools, and features rollout, and process standardization for new and emerging countries.
  • Define the best topology for emerging countries by leveraging optimization tool sets to address critical strategic questions regarding facility construction, types, locations, operations, and transportation connections.
  • Gather requirements from appropriate business owners, write clear and detailed business requirements, prioritize features, and drive technical scoping as needed.
  • Partner with established markets team to benchmark best practices and tools to drive implementation and adoption for new countries.
  • Create scalable mechanisms and best practices, actively working to remove bottlenecks.
  • Effectively influence stakeholders without having direct authority.
  • Communicate and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Proactively identify gaps/opportunities and decide when to advocate for single-threaded owners and other resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Network planning, or retail/e-commerce operations execution
  • 5+ years of experience using MS Excel, SQL, or other related data analysis tools
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • 3+ years in a production, fulfillment, or planning environment
  • 3+ years of experience and success in leading cross-functional programs.
