About the position

QinetiQ US is seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager - Material Program Manager to support the Program Management Office (PMO) that manages the OCONUS Aerostat Surveillance program. This program utilizes aerostat systems to provide persistent surveillance and detection capabilities to the U.S. Government and NATO Alliance countries. The role is pivotal in ensuring that the supply chain operations align with the strategic goals of the organization, particularly in the context of defense and security operations. As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and administration of subcontracts, task orders, and subsequent amendments. This includes participating in negotiations for teaming agreements and strategic marketing alliances between the company and external sources. You will review client solicitations and provide recommendations regarding outsourcing requirements to the business management proposal team. Your tasks will involve negotiating pricing, terms and conditions, analyzing prices, and creating subcontract documents. In this role, you will work closely with subcontract partners to develop winning proposals that encompass both cost and technical solutions for assigned campaigns. Monitoring subcontractor performance is crucial, including managing deliverables and payment of invoices. You will ensure that all subcontracts comply with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government relations. Maintaining communication with Program Managers and Supply Chain Managers regarding subcontract negotiations and performance will be essential to protect the interests of the company. You will also prepare and disseminate information regarding subcontract status, compliance, modifications, deviations, negotiations, and terminations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance of subcontracts with legal requirements and customer specifications.
  • Maintain contact with Program Managers and Supply Chain Managers regarding subcontract performance.
  • Prepare and disseminate information regarding subcontract status and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Additional training in contract law is preferred.
  • Seven to nine years of related experience in government supply chain or subcontract administration.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain NATO Secret Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in defense or aerospace supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with government contracting processes and regulations.
