About the position

The Senior Supply Chain Manager will oversee and optimize the supply chain operations for Technology Solutions facilities, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring supply chain strategies, acting as a liaison between plant operations, customers, and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in enhancing operational efficiency and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee master scheduling, buyer analysis, order management, production scheduling, customer fulfillment, and inventory management for multiple sites.
  • Assign yearly performance objectives for the team in alignment with department and site goals.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to employees regarding job performance.
  • Mentor and motivate the supply chain team, providing training and development to optimize performance.
  • Communicate performance standards and recognize individual and team accomplishments.
  • Manage and be responsible for the department budget.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions based on findings.
  • Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of supply chain activities.
  • Implement supply chain analytics and reporting mechanisms to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand forecasting and sales trends to support supply chain activities.
  • Participate in special projects and provide recommendations for future procedures.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become issues.
  • Align with internal customers to understand budgetary targets and develop methods for measuring savings and value.
  • Produce monthly status reports communicating project progress against plans and budgets.
  • Manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory monthly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics Management, Manufacturing Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 5 years of Supply Chain/Logistics experience in Manufacturing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills with experience leading a team.
  • Extensive experience with SAP ERP system.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
