About the position
The Senior Supply Chain Manager will lead and enhance the global supply chain operations for a well-established US-owned manufacturer. This role is pivotal in driving expansion and improvement within the supply chain team, with significant visibility to the C-Suite and opportunities for career advancement. The position focuses heavily on procurement and strategic sourcing, while also interfacing with production planning and international logistics.
Responsibilities
- Identify weaknesses and implement new processes to effect change.
- Manage planning and execute a global supply chain strategy.
- Drive Lean and Operations Excellence throughout multiple manufacturing plants.
- Grow the procurement and strategic sourcing team by hiring, mentoring, and developing new leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, finance, or business.
- Proven track record in managing supply chain for multiple locations.
- Experience in machinery or equipment assembly.
- Hands-on experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, with knowledge of production planning and global logistics.
