About the position
The Senior Supply Chain Planner at BASF is a pivotal role within the CI team, responsible for inventory and supply planning for domestic production, tolling, and imports. This position requires a self-starter who can manage multiple high-profile products and collaborate with various internal functions to optimize supply chain operations and drive strategic decisions that align with customer service goals and manufacturing efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional supply chain optimization and S&OP efforts within the Amines product portfolio.
- Serve as a key interface to both Regional and Global Product Management and Supply Chain groups.
- Drive strategic decisions by developing and executing production and purchase plans.
- Define and participate in projects targeting specific opportunities in Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Drive collaboration and optimization efforts to enhance customer relationships.
- Support the success of the supply chain organization by working closely with operations, product management, and commercial leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field (strongly preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, business management, manufacturing, or related functions.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Exceptional analytical skills and thorough knowledge of current SCM concepts.
