About the position

Halff is seeking a Senior Survey Project Manager who is a Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to join their team in Austin, TX. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise project teams on various surveying projects of all sizes and complexity.
• Develop project scope, schedule, and fee estimates.
• Mentor Survey Technicians and junior RPLS staff.
• Coordinate with project managers, survey crews, and technicians to ensure project success.
• Provide ongoing support for business development efforts and lead proposal preparations.
• Manage boundary surveys and surveys for design in Texas.

Requirements

• Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor License (RPLS).
• 10+ years of experience in the Surveying Industry.
• 5 years of management experience as an RPLS in Texas.
• 5 years of experience in boundary surveys and surveys for design in Texas.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Land Development and/or TXDOT projects and procedures.
• Strong understanding of the Austin and overall Texas market.
• Technical proficiency with Trimble Business Center and familiarity with MicroStation or Civil 3D.
• Active involvement in professional organizations and mentoring of staff.
