About The Position

The System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role involves conducting platform reviews, assisting with device management through Jamf, and providing excellent support for our Google Workspace and Mac OS environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, with a strong focus on Mac OS and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with Jamf Pro or similar device management solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of system administration best practices and security principles.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional, Google Workspace Administrator) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain server and network infrastructure, with a focus on Mac OS devices and Google Workspace applications.
  • Conduct regular reviews of IT systems and platforms to assess performance, security, and compliance, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist in the deployment, management, and monitoring of devices using Jamf Pro, ensuring devices are configured, secured, and updated as needed.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues related to Mac OS, Google Workspace, and other IT services.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to protect systems and data, including user access controls and data backup procedures.
  • Work closely with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration of systems and address any cross-functional issues.
  • Provide training and support to users on best practices for utilizing Google Workspace and Mac OS features effectively.
  • Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
