About the position

The Senior System Engineer will provide support for the Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) branch, focusing on acquiring scientific, systems, and software engineering services to support the life cycle activities of ARAT-PO software systems. This role involves technical support, training development, and ensuring the proper installation and functioning of systems on foreign military aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Provide In-Country Reprogramming (ICR) Plans & Procedures for Foreign Military Sales.
• Serve as technical representatives at annual Threat Coordination Meetings (TCMs), Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and other meetings with FMS customers.
• Offer technical insight into the performance of the EWS and detailed information on relevant threats.
• Support program FMS requirements as detailed by approved FMS cases.
• Develop aircraft survivability operational and maintenance software training packages and conduct training for FMS customers.
• Create training packages to support both CONUS and OCONUS training events, including academic and hands-on instruction.
• Provide technical support for planning and execution activities of system transition efforts.
• Ensure that the EWS is correctly installed on foreign military aircraft and functioning according to the Aircraft Operators Manual.
• Support flight tests at designated FMS customer furnished sites both CONUS and OCONUS.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical discipline.
• 6 years of experience in translating requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design; developing test strategies; and solving engineering problems.
• Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
