The Senior Systems Architect for Data Centers at Schneider Electric plays a pivotal role in the ELECTRA program, a collaborative initiative between the Power Products and Power Systems Divisions aimed at revolutionizing electrical power distribution architectures across various strategic segments, including XL Data Centers, Marine & Ports, Semiconductor fabs, Mobility, New Energy Landscape, Engineering & Construction, Mining, Motor management, and Healthcare. This position is designed for a highly skilled individual who will develop cutting-edge architectures that enhance Schneider Electric's competitiveness in the market. In this role, the Senior Systems Architect will engage in high-level discussions with customers to identify both expressed and unexpressed requirements, translating these needs into power systems architectures that leverage Schneider Electric's strengths and create new opportunities for future product portfolio evolution. The architect will also provide expert support to key customers and ecosystem partners, focusing on power systems, protection plans (MV/LV), power automation, monitoring, and control. Additionally, the role involves creating valuable content to promote Schneider Electric solutions through workshops, training sessions, whitepapers, webinars, and conference papers. Business support is another critical aspect of this role, where the architect will influence and support end-user intimacy, particularly with strategic Cloud and Service Providers. They will organize and deliver technical support to internal sales and tendering organizations upon request from segments and will animate and support ecosystem partners, especially specifiers in the data center segment. The Senior Systems Architect must possess a deep understanding of customer applications and processes, including key performance indicators, constraints, and customer roles and responsibilities. They will contribute to technical discussions to capture actual application needs and provide insights into customer requirements for future roadmap development. The role also emphasizes technology innovation through experimentation with customers and investigations into new generation architectures. A strong foundation in power systems expertise is essential, as the architect will contribute to defining optimized and competitive MV/LV power systems architecture based on Schneider Electric's catalog and innovative electrical distribution architectures for the future. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in power systems engineering, including network simulation, protection, AC & DC power electronics conversion, power quality, and reliability. Familiarity with Schneider Electric's offerings (MV, LV, UPS, monitoring & control, relays) and new energy landscape technologies (BESS, fuel cells, etc.) is crucial, as is the ability to build studies and materials that promote solutions emphasizing differentiation and customer benefits. Knowledge of data center power system design and understanding of new energy landscape topics, including source management, load management, direct current, and power conversion, are also required.
