About the position

The Electrical Engineer or Systems Engineer will specialize in 5G wireless communication, focusing on network planning, optimization, and troubleshooting. This role is crucial for the design, development, and optimization of advanced 5G systems and technologies, ensuring they meet business goals and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for 5G systems.
• Develop advanced technology solutions and guide integration into final products.
• Optimize the performance of 5G systems through system-level tuning, parameter optimization, and performance analysis to meet quality of service (QoS) requirements.
• Plan and optimize 5G network deployments, considering coverage, capacity, interference, and mobility patterns.
• Develop strategies and algorithms for mitigating interference in 5G networks, including beam-forming, power control, and spectrum management.
• Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in 5G systems, assess their impact, and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Extensive experience in the design, development, and deployment of wireless communication systems, focusing on 5G technology.
• In-depth knowledge of 5G standards, including 3GPP specifications, RAN architecture, and core network components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues in 5G systems.
• Experience in network planning, optimization, and troubleshooting of wireless communication systems.
• Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.
• Experience with system integration and testing of complex communication systems, including interoperability testing and validation.
