We are looking for a Senior Systems Integration Engineer in Hillsboro, OR who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. In this role, you will have the chance to work on projects including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, gaining familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You will provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Working in a team environment alongside engineers and project managers, you will solve complex systems integration solutions in a timely and satisfactory manner. Your responsibilities will include providing support on system integration projects and new upgrades, developing PLC code, producing SCADA graphics, and interacting with clients and trade contractors. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical expertise to mentor other professionals, helping your team discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose, and guiding them forward. Responsibilities

  • Accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
  • Provide on-site assistance during startup.
  • Coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
  • Support system integration projects and new upgrades.
  • Develop PLC code and produce SCADA graphics.
  • Interact with clients and trade contractors.
  • Mentor other professionals and help them discover their purpose.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience working with Systems Integration or Instrumentation and Control.
  • Working knowledge of Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC (RSLogix 5000 and StudioLogix), GE Cimplicity, and FactoryTalk configuration experience.
  • PLC Programming, testing, and plant commissioning experience with process control systems in critical plant environments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in various aspects of industrial automation, instrumentation, electrical power, and building automation system design.
  • Electronics Industry experience.
  • Certified Automation Professional (CAP).
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
