About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer to support Public Azure products, including Azure App Service Environment and Azure Kubernetes Service. This role involves troubleshooting applications hosted in Azure and maintaining Azure platforms, with a focus on increasing system efficiencies and minimizing human intervention in related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
• Contribute to increasing system efficiencies and lowering human intervention time on related tasks
• Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure high levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
• Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
• Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve high levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Requirements

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent
• 2+ years of Azure Cloud experience
• 1+ years of Kubernetes experience

Nice-to-haves

• Azure Certification
• Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
• Ability to manage efforts that require integration of multiple technology systems, operations, or processes
• 1+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform or CloudFormation
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including management
