About the position

The position involves being a key member of a multi-disciplinary team at KLA, focusing on the development of software prototype solutions that align with the company's technology roadmap. The successful candidate will drive best practices in code health and testing while contributing to an automated continuous integration pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software prototype solutions to explore product and technology roadmap.
  • Demonstrate detailed problem-solving to resolve issues and standardize solutions.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to support system design changes for manufacturability, serviceability, and testability.
  • Enable successful technical integration of hardware and software system solutions.
  • Drive adoption of best industry practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.
  • Contribute to automated continuous integration pipeline to build, test, and release.

Requirements

  • Master's Level Degree or work experience of 3 years, Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 5 years.
  • 5+ years of software development experience using high-level programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, and .Net Framework.
  • Ability to decompose sophisticated interrelated software systems for easier conception, understanding, programming, and maintenance.
  • Strong communication skills and a sense of ownership to inspire change.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple conflicting assignments while driving pragmatic decisions.
  • Exposure to test-driven development and continuous integration.
  • Hands-on experience in scripting, data analysis, and data visualization.
  • Real-world application of Object-oriented methodologies and principles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
