Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Tableau Developer for a contract position with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This role is designed for an experienced Application Programmer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Tableau dashboards and reports. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate these into actionable insights. This position requires a strong focus on data cleaning, transformation, and modeling to prepare data for effective visualization. Utilizing Tableau's advanced features, including Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, calculated fields, and parameter controls, the developer will create sophisticated visualizations that meet the needs of the business. Performance optimization is a key aspect of this role, as the developer will be tasked with reducing load times and improving user experience across Tableau dashboards. Implementing best practices for Tableau development, including efficient use of extracts, filters, and calculations, is essential to ensure data accuracy, consistency, governance, and security. This is a 12+ month contract position that offers 40% remote work flexibility, starting on November 1, 2024, and ending on October 31, 2025. Candidates must be available to work directly as Genesis10 employees and should possess a proven track record in developing complex Tableau dashboards and reports, along with a deep understanding of data modeling and analysis.
