About the position

The Senior Tableau Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau reports and dashboards. This role requires extensive experience in SQL and data integration tools, as well as the ability to optimize query performance and manage deployment processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements while meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau reports and dashboards.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
• Debug and improve query performance for optimal efficiency.
• Deploy SSIS packages using git check-in and set up environmental variables.
• Create and manage jobs in SQL Agent for automated processes.
• Develop and maintain reports using Talend.
• Utilize code control/versioning with Team Foundation.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience with Tableau.
• More than 5 years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
• More than 5 years of expertise with TSQL, SSRS, SSIS, or Talend.
• Experience with debugging and improving query performance.
• Experience deploying SSIS packages using git check-in and setting up environmental variables.
• Experience with Transact-SQL and stored procedures is desired.
• Experience creating, deploying, and maintaining Talend reports.
• Experience with code control/versioning using Team Foundation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and cross-functional analysis abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks.
