About the position
The Senior Tableau Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Tableau dashboards and reports. This role requires strong expertise in Tableau development, including both Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, and the ability to work with large datasets while optimizing workbook performance. The position emphasizes problem-solving, analytical skills, and effective communication and collaboration within a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Work with large data sets and optimize workbook performance.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
- Utilize basic programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or .NET.
- Understand and apply basic data structures and data engineering principles for data validation and quality assurance.
Requirements
- Strong Tableau development experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries.
