About the position

The Senior Tableau Lead Developer at Tata Consultancy Services is responsible for leading Tableau development teams and projects, focusing on business intelligence and data visualization. This role requires extensive experience in Tableau and strong technical skills in SQL and database management, along with the ability to communicate complex technical solutions effectively to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tableau development teams and manage projects related to business intelligence and data visualization.
• Develop and optimize Tableau dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop, Server, and Online.
• Utilize SQL and data querying tools to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
• Implement Tableau performance tuning and optimization best practices to enhance dashboard efficiency.
• Communicate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Manage multiple priorities and projects while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in BI and data visualization, with at least 3 years of Tableau development experience.
• Proven leadership experience in leading Tableau development teams and projects.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.
• Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to various stakeholders.
• Experience with Tableau performance tuning and optimization best practices.
