About the position

The Senior Tableau Report Developer will serve as a Lead Developer, participating in various Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including requirements verification, design, development, testing, maintenance, and support activities. The role focuses on supporting existing .NET applications and participating in the SDLC process of the new SACWIS system, ensuring knowledge transfer and ongoing maintenance of the solution for specific modules. The candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining SSRS reports and SSIS ETL packages, supporting SOA integration initiatives, and collaborating with the System Integrator.

Responsibilities

• Participate in various SDLC processes including requirements verification, design, development, testing, maintenance, and support activities.
• Create and maintain SSRS reports and SSIS ETL packages.
• Support SOA integration initiatives and participate in the SDLC process.
• Assist in the design and development of database architecture including relational data structures, data marts, and data models.
• Develop strategies for data acquisition, quality, and discrepancy.
• Assist in migration and integration of data from legacy systems to new applications.
• Develop and maintain custom SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers using Microsoft T-SQL.
• Design, develop, and implement ETL/ELT solutions for data ingestion and cleansing.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts and users to validate requirements.
• Perform tests and validate data flows according to business requirements.
• Design and implement a data conversion strategy from legacy to new platforms.
• Optimize SSIS Package execution and SQL execution for performance.
• Develop different kinds of reports using Tableau and deploy them to report servers.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of prior experience in relevant fields.
• More than 5 years of experience with Tableau.
• More than 5 years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
• More than 5 years of expertise with TSQL, SSRS, SSIS, or Talend.
• Experience with debugging and improving query performance.
• Experience with deploying SSIS packages using git check-in and SQL Agent.
• Experience with Transact-SQL and stored procedures.
• Experience with creating, deploying, and maintaining Talend reports.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional analysis skills.

• Experience with Salesforce.
• Experience with MuleSoft.
