About the position

Tactical Air Support Inc. is seeking a Senior Tactical Systems Analyst (Hardware Training) to join our Advanced Capabilities and Expert Solutions (ACES) Division in Lemoore, CA. This position is crucial for supporting our F/A-18E/F Hardware training team, which plays a vital role in delivering world-class training, products, and support directly to fleet aviators. The ACES Division is dedicated to ensuring that warfighters are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in combat. The Hardware training program is dynamic and challenging, focusing on providing Subject Matter Expertise in Tactical Data Links, Radios (SATCOM/SATURN), IFF, EW Systems, JTT-R, LITENING, IRST, and emerging hardware systems currently in development. As a Senior Tactical Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for researching, processing, and distilling complex technical material into meaningful and engaging presentations for fleet Naval Aviators and Maintenance professionals. You will conduct professional, in-person training sessions for both large and small groups of aircrew, catering to varied experience levels. Additionally, you will cross-train and assist with other priority efforts within the ACES Division, ensuring that the training provided is comprehensive and meets the needs of the fleet. This role requires a strong background in F/A-18E/F combat systems, with a minimum of eight years of experience. You will need to possess a valid State Driver's license and be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret Clearance and SAP eligibility. The position also involves approximately 20% travel to various work sites throughout the U.S. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, although a combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. An advanced degree and extensive operational Strike Fighter experience are preferred, along with strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize workload and maintain project deadlines.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Active and current Secret Clearance with SAP eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline or a combination of background, education, and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of eight years experience with F/A-18E/F combat systems.
  • Familiarity and expertise with F/A-18E/F mission planning and training systems.
  • Valid State Driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive operational Strike Fighter experience and graduate-level credentials in Strike Fighter employment, instruction, and/or flight test.
  • Experience with various F/A-18E/F operational squadrons, test squadrons, program offices, and tactical centers of excellence.
  • Familiarity or experience with the U.S. Armed Forces and Department of Defense (DoD) federal contractors and the aerospace, defense, or commercial aviation industry.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines, and standards on assigned projects.
