About the position

The Senior Tactical Systems Analyst (Hardware Training) position at Tactical Air Support Inc. involves providing expert training and support for F/A-18E/F combat systems. The role is crucial in delivering world-class training to fleet aviators and maintenance professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills for successful combat operations. The position requires a Subject Matter Expert to engage in dynamic training programs that address the needs of the fleet, focusing on various tactical systems and emerging hardware developments.

Responsibilities

• Research, process, and distill complex technical material for meaningful and engaging presentation to fleet Naval Aviators and Maintenance professionals
• Conduct professional, in-person training to large and small groups of aircrew with varied experience levels
• Cross-train and assist other priority efforts within ACES

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of eight years experience with F/A-18E/F combat systems as aircrew (Pilot or WSO)
• Familiarity and expertise with F/A-18E/F mission planning and training systems
• Valid state driver license
• U.S. Citizenship
• Active and current Secret DoD Clearance with SAP eligibility

Nice-to-haves

• Extensive operational Strike Fighter experience and graduate-level credentials in Strike Fighter employment, instruction, and/or flight test
• Experience with various F/A-18E/F operational squadrons, test squadrons, program offices, and tactical centers of excellence
• Familiarity or experience with the U.S. Armed Forces and Department of Defense (DoD) federal contractors and the aerospace, defense, or commercial aviation industry
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines, and standards on assigned projects
