About the position

Tactical Air Support, Inc. is seeking a Senior Tactical Systems Analyst with a focus on Hardware Training to join our Advanced Capabilities and Expert Solutions (ACES) Division. This position is critical in supporting our F/A-18E/F Hardware training team located in Lemoore, California. The ACES Division is dedicated to delivering exceptional training, products, and support directly to fleet aviators, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in combat scenarios. The Hardware training program is designed to be dynamic and challenging, addressing the fleet's requirements for Subject Matter Expertise in various systems including Tactical Data Links, SATCOM/SATURN radios, IFF, Electronic Warfare Systems, JTT-R, LITENING, IRST, and other emerging hardware systems currently in development. As a Senior Tactical Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for researching, processing, and distilling complex technical material into meaningful and engaging presentations tailored for fleet Naval Aviators and Maintenance professionals. You will conduct professional, in-person training sessions for both large and small groups of aircrew, accommodating individuals with varying levels of experience. Additionally, you will cross-train and assist with other priority efforts within the ACES Division, contributing to the overall mission of Tactical Air Support. This role requires a strong commitment to excellence and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the fleet. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our warfighters receive the highest quality training and support, ultimately enhancing their operational effectiveness in combat situations.

Responsibilities

  • Research, process, and distill complex technical material for meaningful and engaging presentations to fleet Naval Aviators and Maintenance professionals
  • Conduct professional, in-person training for large and small groups of aircrew with varied experience levels
  • Cross-train and assist other priority efforts within ACES

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active and current Secret Clearance with SAP eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline or a combination of background, education, and training may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of eight years experience with F/A-18E/F combat systems
  • Familiarity and expertise with F/A-18E/F mission planning and training systems
  • Valid State Drivers license

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Extensive operational Strike Fighter experience and graduate-level credentials in Strike Fighter employment, instruction, and/or flight test
  • Experience with various F/A-18E/F operational squadrons, test squadrons, program offices, and tactical centers of excellence
  • Familiarity or experience with the U.S. Armed Forces and Department of Defense (DoD) federal contractors and the aerospace, defense, or commercial aviation industry
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines, and standards on assigned projects
