About the position

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full cycle strategic recruiting to implement and manage effective, results-driven sourcing and recruiting that meets company objectives. This role is pivotal in collaborating on workforce planning, developing sourcing strategies, and building recruiting plans that align with the company's goals. The specialist will ensure the pre-qualification and presentation of top candidates to hiring managers, lead and facilitate post-interview calibration processes, and develop and negotiate offers with candidates. In this position, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will develop proactive sourcing strategies that support both short and long-term hiring needs. Building key talent pipelines through continuous sourcing and attending relevant industry conferences, professional group meetings, and other events to target top talent will be essential. The specialist will partner with hiring managers to define requirements for open positions and develop recruiting plans to meet organizational needs. Conducting and leading post-interview calibration sessions with hiring managers will ensure a thorough evaluation and comparison of candidates to select the highest quality individuals. Additionally, the role involves building strong partnerships with Human Resources Business Partners and Department Leadership to understand business and operational strategies. The specialist will participate in workforce planning with Department Leadership and the People Services team to identify the skills, capabilities, and roles required to support the company's goals. Proactive participation and providing subject matter expertise regarding Talent Acquisition trends and current/future market information will be expected. The specialist will also support the implementation and management of strategic talent acquisition programs, such as new grad and intern strategies, employment branding, affirmative action planning, contingent workforce management, and employee referral programs to ensure a deep candidate bench. Identifying opportunities to continuously improve Talent Acquisition processes, approaches, tools, and outcomes will be a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Develop pro-active sourcing strategies that support short and long term hiring needs
  • Build key talent pipelines through continuous sourcing and attending relevant industry conferences, professional group meetings and other events to target top talent
  • Partner with hiring managers to define requirements for open positions
  • Develop recruiting plans to meet short and longer term organizational needs
  • Conduct and lead post interview calibration sessions with hiring managers to ensure process to evaluate and compare candidates and select highest quality candidates
  • Develop and close competitive offers in collaboration with people services partners and hiring managers
  • Build strong partnerships with Human Resources Business Partner and Department Leadership and work collaboratively to understand business and operational strategies
  • Participate in workforce planning with Department Leadership and People Services team to identify skill, capability, and roles required to support the company goals and objectives
  • Pro-actively participate in and provide subject matter expertise (SME) regarding Talent Acquisition trends and current/future market information

Requirements

  • B.S. or B.A. in related fields or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years in a strategic talent acquisition function and experience with full-cycle recruitment and/or recruitment coordination and support
  • Experience with candidate sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster.com etc)
  • Ability to foster relationships with a diverse workforce
  • Previous project management experience and/or proven ability to manage and execute TA programs is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management and associates
  • Strong pc skills
  • Bilingual skills a plus
