About the position

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at AmTrust Financial Services is responsible for leading the full life cycle recruitment process for the Finance and Accounting group. This role involves sourcing, assessing, and recruiting candidates for various positions while developing innovative recruiting strategies to meet high volume needs. The specialist will collaborate with hiring teams and the recruiting director to ensure effective recruitment practices and maintain strong relationships with candidates and staffing vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle recruitment including job description development, job posting, sourcing, interviewing, reference checks, and offer negotiation.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
  • Work closely with the Recruiting Director to develop recruiting strategies to identify top talent.
  • Participate in special projects and recruiting initiatives, assessing best practices in interviewing techniques and leveraging internal sources of talent.
  • Establish strong partnerships with hiring teams to assess business needs and determine candidate profiles.
  • Interview candidates and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate timeline.
  • Manage staffing vendor relationships for contract to hire and/or project-based hiring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years full-cycle recruiting experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience for Finance and Accounting positions required.
  • Recruiting experience in a corporate environment highly desired.
  • Proficiency using ATS systems and meeting goals in a metric-driven environment.
  • Prior experience in global information, insurance/financial services, or technology companies is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of basic employment law, OFCCP guidelines, and HR practices.
  • Experienced in behavioral-based interviewing and pre-employment testing.
