About the position

Graymont, a global leader in the lime and limestone industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our North America HR team. This position is pivotal in shaping the future of our organization as we expand into new markets and launch new products and applications. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will report to the Human Resources Operations Manager, North America, and will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive, world-class recruiting strategy. This role will focus on sourcing top-tier talent and building a robust and diverse pipeline to meet both current and future hiring needs. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding. This includes providing timely communication and feedback to all candidates, utilizing recruitment metrics and analytics to drive decisions, and participating in employer branding initiatives to enhance our reputation as an employer of choice. The role also involves working closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their specific needs and requirements for talent acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an effective talent acquisition strategy to attract highly skilled professionals, particularly those with expertise in new technologies and innovations.
  • Identify, source, and engage potential candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and professional associations.
  • Conduct initial screenings and assessments to shortlist top candidates.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Proactively build and maintain a diverse talent pipeline for critical and specialized roles to ensure readiness for future hiring needs.
  • Utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to drive decisions and continuously improve the hiring process.
  • Participate in and support employer branding initiatives to enhance our reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Attend industry events and career fairs to promote our brand.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their specific needs and requirements for talent acquisition.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and analytics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage candidate relationships effectively.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Experience in employer branding and promoting a positive candidate experience.
