About the position

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at HUB International is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process primarily for the Wisconsin market, with potential support for Iowa. This role involves developing recruitment strategies, sourcing candidates, and ensuring a positive candidate experience while focusing on diversity in hiring. The specialist will work autonomously while collaborating with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition Coordinator to fill positions efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned openings for the Wisconsin market and support the Iowa market as needed.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process from opening positions to initiating onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and best recruiting strategies.
  • Conduct initial phone-screening interviews and coordinate follow-up interviews with hiring managers.
  • Prepare and send offer letters in partnership with the TA Coordinator.
  • Utilize various sources to develop a candidate pool, including social media and networking groups.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Drive the hiring process with a focus on providing a positive candidate experience.
  • Ensure compliance with legal hiring practices and maintain a fair hiring process.
  • Engage in strategic diversity recruiting efforts and internal projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • At least 2 years of recruitment experience within the insurance or insurance brokerage industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, able to interact with all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to attract passive candidates and build inclusive pipelines through advanced sourcing techniques.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruiting technologies.
