About the position

The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at HUB International is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process primarily for the Wisconsin market, with potential support for Iowa. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers, developing recruitment strategies, and ensuring a positive candidate experience while focusing on diversity sourcing. The position requires autonomy in managing various levels of positions and creating robust talent pipelines to meet current and future hiring needs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers on staffing needs and determine the best recruiting strategy.
  • Manage the entire recruiting process including securing position details and creating position descriptions.
  • Open and post positions in Workday and other job boards.
  • Conduct initial phone-screening interviews on selected candidates.
  • Coordinate follow-up interviews with hiring managers via Zoom, phone, and in-person.
  • Regularly follow up with managers on the status of candidates in the queue.
  • Prepare and send offer letters in partnership with the TA Coordinator.
  • Initiate onboarding in Workday with the TA Coordinator.
  • Utilize various sources to develop a candidate pool, including social media and networking groups.
  • Build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor to the business.
  • Drive the hiring process with a focus on candidate experience and hiring the best talent.
  • Provide offer recommendations and handle negotiations.
  • Ensure legal compliance and a fair hiring process.
  • Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline for future openings.
  • Drive strategic diversity recruiting efforts for the market.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and internal projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • At least 2 years of recruitment experience within the insurance/insurance brokerage industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to interact with all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to attract passive candidates and build inclusive pipelines through advanced sourcing techniques.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruiting technologies, with Workday and Phenom experience being a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously while being team-oriented.
