About the position

The Senior Talent Development Manager at McCarthy Holdings, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the strategic implementation of national processes related to talent development and performance management. This role supervises a team dedicated to ensuring that the workforce possesses the necessary knowledge and skills to meet current and future talent needs. The position involves managing the development and delivery of national training solutions, aligning individual and team objectives with company goals, and fostering a culture of continuous development. This high-impact role affects over 3000 partners and requires collaboration with various stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the strategic implementation of national talent development processes.
  • Supervise a team responsible for workforce competency and skills development.
  • Manage the development and delivery of national training solutions.
  • Translate company goals into individual and team objectives.
  • Track and improve performance consistently across the organization.
  • Partner with HR and Learning & Development teams to address performance gaps.
  • Drive a continuous development culture using data-driven insights.
  • Mentor and manage a team of talent development advisors.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and one-on-ones with direct reports.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Build relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders to align talent processes with business goals.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of talent management programs and recommend enhancements.
  • Implement performance management systems and practices across the organization.
  • Lead the design and implementation of strategic learning solutions.
  • Research and test learning technologies to improve engagement and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HRD, Business Administration, Learning and Development, Education, or a related field, or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 3-5 years' experience in implementing and designing performance management processes and systems.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and best practices in learning and development.
  • 3-5 years of experience developing and implementing training solutions.
  • Flexibility to deliver training in various formats: classroom, virtual, on-the-job, etc.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience leading teams in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in an understandable manner.
  • Technical aptitude with experience in leveraging learning technologies and tools.
  • Experience in measuring and reporting the effectiveness of learning solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and course development tools.
  • Energy and initiative to create new programs and drive national outcomes.
