Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns including 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S
• Manage bookkeeping tasks and prepare monthly or quarterly financial statements
• Meet tight deadlines and prioritize multiple incoming requests
• Provide outstanding customer service through effective communication
• Work independently after training to prepare tax returns
• Utilize Proseries and Quickbooks for accounting tasks
• Maintain speed and accuracy with numbers and attention to detail
• Engage in continuous learning and follow managerial guidance

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in tax and accounting
• Experience with Proseries and Quickbooks Desktop/Online
• Advanced level Excel skills
• Ability to prepare tax returns independently after training
• Bookkeeping experience
• Superb verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and logical thinking

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge or experience in tax and accounting for interns
• Willingness to learn and follow manager's lead
• Ability to roll up sleeves and pitch in where needed
