About the position

The Senior Tax Accountant at 4Wall is responsible for managing various tax-related tasks including sales and use tax return preparation, business licenses, personal property taxes, and real estate taxes. This role involves monthly reporting and analysis for both internal and external requests, contributing to the financial integrity of the company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales and use tax returns
• Manage business licenses and personal property taxes
• Handle real estate taxes
• Conduct monthly reporting and analysis for internal and external requests

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 4+ years of progressive accounting or analysis experience
• Knowledge of sales tax preparation and filings
• Experience with audits and Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Experience performing tax research using services like CCH, RIA, BNA
• Multi-state sales/use tax experience
