About the position

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will provide high-quality tax services to a diverse client base within an entrepreneurial accounting and consulting firm. This role involves preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, conducting tax research, advising clients on tax planning strategies, and mentoring junior staff. You will work closely with a small ownership team to innovate and leverage technology in delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex tax returns, including corporate, partnership, individual, and trust returns
• Conduct tax research and analysis to identify and resolve complex tax issues
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities
• Manage and mentor junior staff members
• Stay current on tax laws and regulations
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver exceptional client service

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or CPA track required
• Minimum of 4 years of public accounting experience
• Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
