Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for potential tax issues and keep abreast of new developments in tax legislation.
• Accurately prepare and file federal and state tax returns in a timely manner.
• Assist in developing tax strategies to ensure the company remains tax-compliant.
• Identify tax problems and develop solutions.
• Complete responses and schedules in preparation for income tax audits.
• Monitor and review developments in tax legislation.
• Review tax returns.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Business or related field required.
• 2-3+ years corporate tax experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with close attention to details.
• Extensive knowledge of tax legislation.
• Accurate math and accounting skills.
• Sound problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and taxation software.
• Ability to meet deadlines and find solutions to problems.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is nice to have but not required.
• Real estate experience a big plus.
