Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review tax returns for S-Corporations, C-Corporations, and individual clients.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Conduct thorough tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws.
  • Assist clients with tax planning and provide strategic tax advice.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address their tax-related queries and concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • CPA certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in tax preparation with 1 or more recent years of public accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using tax preparation software (experience with Client is a plus).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
