About the position

The Bonadio Group is seeking experienced tax accounting professionals at the Senior level to join their Tax Service Line in Dallas, Texas. This role involves preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, developing client relationships, and providing innovative tax planning and consulting services. The position emphasizes continuous learning and professional development, allowing individuals to grow into trusted advisors while contributing to the successful completion of tax engagements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or review complex business and individual tax returns.
• Develop effective working relationships with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
• Identify and research tax issues, develop resolutions, and prepare written conclusions.
• Assist with the developing, training, and mentoring of staff and interns.
• Learn new tax skills related to diverse client services, including public company tax services and banking and financial industry tax services.
• Work on issues of diverse scope requiring evaluation of various factors, including current business trends.
• Assist with the development and retention of clients, including the ability to cross-sell services.
• Assist clients with special projects such as budgeting, cash flow projections, tax planning, and sales tax.
• Deliver projects/engagements on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting and pursuit or completion of 150 credit hours.
• A minimum of three years of relevant tax experience.
• Recent experience working in public accounting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite inclusive of Outlook.
