A significant part of the job will be identifying, researching, and resolving tax issues that may arise, as well as performing corporate income tax functions, compliance, planning, and accounting. The Senior Tax Accountant will also calculate tax basis and implications of proposed transactions and handle voluntary disclosures as necessary. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file multi-state, federal, and state tax returns for C-corporations and partnerships, including extensions and estimated payments.
  • Prepare federal and state consolidated tax returns and interface with corporate operating companies.
  • Identify, research, and resolve tax issues.
  • Perform corporate income tax functions, compliance, planning, and accounting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience at another public accounting/CPA firm.
  • Highly analytical and strong communication skills.
  • Experience reviewing Pass-Through Entity Tax returns.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
