About the position
The Senior Tax Accountant will play a crucial role in a full-service accounting, tax, and business advisory firm, providing services to a diverse range of clients in Southern California. This position involves supervising tax engagements, ensuring efficient and effective operations, and developing a deep understanding of clients' business transactions and their tax implications.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with managers and partners on tax, review, and compilation engagements.
- Assist the team in ensuring that all engagements are run efficiently, effectively, on time, and on budget.
- Develop an understanding of clients' business transactions toward tax implications.
- Effectively communicate and work efficiently with team members and client contacts.
Requirements
- 4-5 years tax experience at a public accounting firm
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Licensed CPA or in process of obtaining
- Capable of supervising tax team for complex tax engagements.
