About the position

The Senior Technical Business Analyst at AT&T is responsible for leading the definition of product vision to ensure that customer experience and business needs are reflected in the technical design and delivered solutions. This role involves guiding technical development teams and business sponsors in building requirements, overseeing change control, and maintaining traceability from design to delivery. The position requires intermediate level experience and focuses on managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, document, and validate project requirements for new applications or enhancements to existing systems.
  • Translate business issues and needs into comprehensive requirements to devise effective solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end requirements process and handle issue resolution using appropriate tools.
  • Conduct peer reviews and assist clients in evaluating the impact of new technologies.
  • Prepare detailed requirements packages, create user stories, and manage requirements traceability.
  • Review final technical designs/solutions and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Engage across the project lifecycle team to ensure stakeholder specifications are met.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in requirements management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong understanding of business processes, applications, and systems.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience in technical evaluation.
  • Senior-level technical expertise with deep knowledge of telecommunications technologies.
  • Ability to facilitate large groups and conduct peer reviews.

  • Experience in technology assessment and client support.
