As a Technical Service Representative at Kurita America, you will play a crucial role in representing the company and providing essential services to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to perform your job functions in a safe and professional manner, ensuring that all work assignments and service accounts are completed according to existing contracts and commitments. This position requires you to conduct in-plant water sampling, perform analyses, and report the results accurately. You will also be responsible for collecting operating data on equipment and maintaining and monitoring the chemical feed program. In addition to these technical responsibilities, you will complete specialized studies and communicate effectively with Sales Representatives, customers, and internal employees. Supporting the Sales Force when assigned is also a key aspect of your role. You will participate in a field training program designed to help you acquire all necessary technical and mechanical knowledge. Building rapport and goodwill with customers and prospects is essential, as is learning about their operations to become a productive member of the company’s sales and service team. This position involves minimal travel, with expectations of 0-10% overnight travel and daily local travel using a company car. The compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $85,000, plus bonuses, reflecting the importance of your contributions to the company’s success.
