About the position

The Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) for FedRAMP at OwnBackup is responsible for managing relationships with assigned US Government accounts, ensuring clients maximize their investment in OwnBackup's services. The role requires a deep understanding of the OwnBackup platform and the technical landscape, focusing on collaboration with strategic FedRAMP customers. The TAM will act as a point of contact for major incidents, provide proactive recommendations, and help customers achieve their business goals through effective use of Salesforce and OwnBackup products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with key business and IT stakeholders and become an expert on a customer's implementation.
  • Help customers achieve their business goals and outcomes by providing timely, proactive recommendations.
  • Attain a Trusted Advisor status with both key business and technical decision-makers.
  • Identify key industry business process areas for opportunities to use the Salesforce platform.
  • Lead DR planning activities and provide relevant technical recommendations.
  • Monitor and identify trends in Salesforce adoption and utilization, providing guidance during periodic reviews.
  • Forewarn customers of technology changes or potential disruptions and advise on mitigation strategies.
  • Provide proactive communications in the event of service degradation or disruption.
  • Participate in issues and advocate for customers during the triage and resolution of high severity cases.
  • Provide timely account or issue executive level summary status reports internally and to the customer.
  • Identify and collaborate with internal teams to ameliorate renewal risks for both license and success plans subscriptions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in FedRAMP/GovCloud Enterprise Architecture, Technology Consulting, Customer Success, Senior Salesforce Administrator, Technology Solutions Development, or Technical/Solutions Architecture.
  • Proficient with both declarative and programmatic product features in Salesforce.
  • Proficient with the use of Salesforce APIs.
  • At least 2 Salesforce product certifications.
  • Experience in dealing with large, complex, distributed systems scale business.
  • Ability to navigate, escalate, and lead efforts on complex US Government customer requests or projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Aptitude for analyzing technical concepts and translating them into business terms.
  • Second language is a benefit.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce product certifications beyond the minimum required.
  • Familiarity with additional cloud technologies or platforms.
