About the position

The Senior Technical Accountant will provide analysis and technical accounting support for various business transactions, prepare consolidated financial statements, and support year-end audits. This hybrid role requires the candidate to work onsite three days a week in Bend, Oregon, and involves contributing to operational performance reporting and strategic projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and technical accounting support for various business transactions.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements during the month and year-end close processes.
• Support year-end audits, including footnote disclosures and compliance with ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Assist in due diligence and reporting for acquisitions, contributing to operational performance reporting and strategic projects.
• Document processes, implement new solutions, and identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; MBA, CMA, CPA a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of technical accounting experience, including consolidations, financial reporting, and ASC 606/842.
• Experience in public accounting, automotive, retail, or similar industry; prior acquisition experience a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle) and intermediate Excel skills required.
• Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Deadline-driven with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA, CMA, CPA certification is a plus.
• Prior acquisition experience is a plus.
