The Senior Technical Analyst, SAP Master Data Governance will serve as a critical resource for Level 1 support, focusing on troubleshooting both technical and functional issues related to master data management using SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and S4HANA. This role is essential in facilitating the implementation and ongoing support of SAP Procure-to-Pay (PTP) and Materials Management (MM) modules, aimed at enhancing the business functionality and overall performance of clients while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The analyst will be responsible for managing various aspects of master data, including Business Partner, Material Master, and MDG Financial objects, ensuring that the data is accurate, consistent, and accessible across the organization. In this position, the analyst will leverage their hands-on experience in multi-level workflow setup and their fluency with various master data types to effectively address and resolve issues. They will also be expected to have a strong understanding of integration methods such as IDocs and proxies, as well as sufficient knowledge in ABAP to debug SAP programs when necessary. The role involves assisting with mass uploads or changes to master data using tools like LSMW and MASS, and designing, configuring, and testing solutions within SAP MDG and S4HANA. The Senior Technical Analyst will act as a liaison between business functions and both regional and global technical teams, analyzing current business processes and scenarios to recommend and develop solutions that meet client needs. They will be tasked with analyzing and resolving critical issues, providing insights into industry best practices, and monitoring errors through daily reporting. Additionally, the analyst will prepare root cause analyses for all issues and functional specifications for developments, create change requests to support business needs, and lead and advise business partners on MDG initiatives. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in data management practices.
